Neil Robinson (Member and Trsutee)
I chair the Trust’s Board of Trustees and have been the Chair of Governors of Cotgrave Candleby Lane School since its creation in 2005. I believe passionately in school improvement; ensuring that each school within the Trust provides the best outcomes for the children and their life chances; because nothing is more important than the children.
Chris Wheatley (CEO and Director)
"I believe that school leaders should have the moral purpose to accept the collective responsibility for improving the whole school system. This is at the heart of the vision of The Flying High Trust." Chris Wheatley is employed by the Trust as Chief Executive Officer as his sole employment. Chris is area representative for the East Midlands Teaching School Council. Any fees received for this work are paid directly to the Trust."

I'm a Director of the Media Group. Creating long-term partnerships with both the public and private sector has been at the core of my business success. I'm passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to meet their full potential - feeling supported, encouraged and safe throughout their education. I’m a Governor at Ernehale Junior School and became a Trustee of The Flying High Trust when the school joined the Trust in April 2015.
Paul Bennett (Trustee)
I have worked for over 40 years in primary education as teacher, headteacher, local authority school inspector and, most recently, as Director for Primary School Leadership at the National College for Teaching and Leadership. I am currently a director of PHB Education Ltd and undertake some consultancy work for the Flying High Trust. I am pleased to be able to support a Trust committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of children
I am passionate about education. I have worked on a broad portfolio of commissions over the last five years spanning the full range of the Children's Services agenda (Education Health, Early Help, Safeguarding) at both strategic and operational levels. My commissions include the development of leadership skills to support systems leadership and sector led improvement in local authorities, schools and early years settings. My vision and values are reflected wholesale in those of the Trust and partner schools.
I have over 15 years’ experience of HR both within the corporate and education sectors. I am passionate about how a business service can enable the highest standards. As a Director of a growing Trust I am excited to support the growth and success centred on children first, at the heart of every decision.
